Jane’s Blog: Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone,

Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year to you all.

I hope you’re all getting ready for the festive season. I love this time of year, I have the tree up and the lights aglow. It’s going to be a busy one for Ed and I this year as we’re having all the family over for Christmas dinner – which seemed a great idea in July when we decided! I sincerely hope everything turns out OK, I’m sure it will. I bet a lot of you are having the same slight panic. It won’t be too bad as Wendy (my sister-in-law) will be doing the starters. I’m having a go at making mum’s award winning trifle, I’m going to have a practice tomorrow so wish me luck. I’m having one day off the sugar free diet on Christmas day.

It’s been an amazing 2016 with the Making Memories tour and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the phenomenal response we had.

We’ve been keeping an eye on all your lovely messages and due to popular demand have decided to extend the Making Memories tour into 2017. Keep your eye on Twitter, Facebook and the website for upcoming dates.

I’m looking forward to getting the band, singers and crew back on the road again. I can’t begin to tell you how much fun we had, I think you could tell we were having the time of our lives on stage – we can’t wait to do it again!

I’ve recently been working on the new album and will be trying out a few new numbers in the shows coming up – so get ready. I was so pleased you all loved “Hold the covers back”, it’s such a thrill to see you all singing along to songs I’ve written.

Also coming up is the new television program which was filmed earlier this year. It was great fun traveling far and wide, making the show for Channel 5 and hopefully it’ll be shown soon. We’ll let you know when we find out the transmission date. I had a great time filming it and hope you enjoy it too.

Next year is full of wonderful opportunities and I can’t wait to get started. Once everything is signed, sealed and delivered you’ll be the first to know.

I’m missing you all, sending you lots of love,

Jane XXX

P.S. Thank you for your lovely cards and gifts.
