In ‘Jane McDonald’s Highland Christmas’ I enjoyed some wonderful festive traditions as I explored the Scottish highlands.
Along with my best mate, Sue, we began the trip with a tour of the sights – and wow, it really was stunning. We tried whisky tasting (just a few tipples – lovely!), bauble making and joined a children’s choir for carols by candlelight.
The lodge we stayed in was wonderful, hidden in the middle of a stunning highland forest – just perfect for Christmas. The real fire was a joy to sit by and warm up after being out in the cold! I think you’ll agree it was the ideal place to enjoy the very best of Christmas traditions with good friends.
It was wonderful to get back to my Scottish roots during this highlands trip. I hope it gets you in the festive mood as much as it did me!
