It’s nearly time for the 2023 TV Times Awards. I’m so excited to have been nominated in the category of Favourite Presenter for my TV show Jane McDonald: Lost in Japan! It was an absolute joy to film the series, I enjoyed every minute and it means so much to me to be nominated for this award.

You can still watch my four-part series and join me as I travel across Japan on an epic adventure. The sights, the food and especially the people made this trip one I will never forget and always treasure.
In the first episode I visit Tokyo, where I find myself in the sumo ring, eating noodles the Japanese way and a night out in a karaoke bar. In the second episode I’ll be visiting the world’s first café staffed by robots and exploring the world of the ninja. Episode three features Kyoto, a place of beautiful shrines and temples, atmospheric tea ceremonies and geishas dressed in exquisite kimonos. In the last episode, I’ll be travelling to ‘Japan’s Kitchen’, Osaka.
